Cover Model SPGSA6A for Suspension Clips of Strut and Armed Up to GS-5T / GSA-6 – 72.5 kV

 

Our new design of the SPGSA6A cover, developed to cover suspension chains made of glass or polymeric materials, has successfully passed testing for the A30/000121 certification according to the AENOR EA0058 Specification for use in networks of 66 / 72.5 kV.

This cover consists of two halves that are joined together using pre-installed closure pins. An internal tab system increases the creepage distance of the cover, ensuring anti-electrocution protection for birds and protecting the conductor from contamination caused by bird droppings and accidents resulting from the intrusion of foreign bodies such as branches or remnants of nests. The coupling cones at the ends of the SPGSA6A cover with the SWP-66 cover feature a geometry specifically designed to prevent the intrusion of small birds and their nesting.
