EnverTec strengthens its international presence at Free Sky for Birds 2026 in Bratislava

During the past month of March, we participated in Free Sky for Birds 2026, held in Bratislava (SLOVAKIA), an international event focused on mitigating the impact of electrical infrastructures on birdlife. The event brought together experts from more than ten countries, including utility companies, public administrations, NGOs, and manufacturers of technical solutions.
On March 10 and 11, the Solutions Expo 2026 took place, featuring 15 international exhibitors specialized in technologies to prevent collisions and electrocutions.
In this space, EnverTec showcased its range of HTV silicone covers and avifauna insulators, specific products designed to reduce the impact of power lines on birds, while also contributing to improving the sustainability and reliability of electrical networks.
The technical program included presentations, panels, and discussion sessions focused on evaluating solutions under real-world conditions, addressing both best practices and monitoring results, as well as the effectiveness of different technologies applied to electrical networks.
Notable contributions included José Rafael Garrido López, head of the Environmental and Water Agency of the Regional Government of Andalusia, who presented success stories on the mitigation of electrocution as a threat to bird conservation in Andalusia. Also noteworthy was the participation of GREFA, with Juan José Iglesias-Lebrija sharing his expertise on the interaction between protected bird species and electrical infrastructures.
On March 12, a field trip took place across Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria, where demonstrations were carried out on 22 kV and 110 kV lines. These included the installation of anti-collision devices using drones and the implementation of anti-electrocution measures. Results from field monitoring and already implemented solutions were also presented, along with the observation of threatened species in cross-border areas.
Participation in this event has allowed us to strengthen our international positioning, establish new collaborations, and continue developing technical solutions aimed at protecting biodiversity in electrical infrastructures.
