ENVERTEC S.L. drives research to modernize medium- and high-voltage power lines

ENVERTEC S.L. reaffirms its commitment to innovation and safety in the energy sector by supporting cutting-edge research aimed at improving medium-voltage (MV) and high-voltage (HV) overhead power lines.

A recent study conducted by Ivan Handjiev (MEng) and Prof. Valentine Kolev (PhD) from the Technical University of Sofia explores the implementation of silicone covers on electrical conductors to enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of installations.

Key findings of the study include:

• Protection of local wildlife: minimizes accidents involving reptiles and small animals near substations.
