Lecture at the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Málaga (UMA)

The R&D Department of EnverTec, represented by our colleague Yolanda Sofia, alongside our Technical Director José Luis Ruz, delivered a technical presentation at the Department of Industrial Engineering (EII) at the University of Málaga (UMA). The lecture focused on the new legal and regulatory requirements concerning Bird Protection on High Voltage Lines, which have become an essential issue of industrial safety following the Supreme Court ruling 1215/2021.

During the course, the latest developments in anti-electrocution systems were discussed, including structural solutions—our original bird protection insulators type AR and ALA, with insulated surfaces of 1 m and 1.25 m respectively—and reactive solutions, the latter being exemplified by our specially formulated silicone covers, classified as flame retardant type VO.

This experience was highly appreciated by the teaching staff and final-year students in attendance, as it constituted a transfer of knowledge between the academic and industrial worlds.
