Vietnam – Avifauna Electrocution Protection Covers

ENVERTEC S.L. is expanding its presence in the Asian market by exporting CAON-KORWI® Silicone Covers to VIETNAM, intended for the protection against electrocution of avifauna, following a distribution agreement with one of the largest companies in the sector.

In a country where 70% of its territory consists of forests and wetlands, and ranked 16th in the world for biodiversity, this first shipment of 8,775 covers supplied by ENVERTEC will help preserve avifauna, prevent fires, and avoid power outages.

The increase in the proportion of households with access to electricity has risen from 2.5% in 1975 to 99.53% in 2019, marking it as the greatest achievement since its unification, particularly in reaching over 17 million families in rural, remote, border, and island areas.

By improving the quality of life for this rural population, the following contributions are made:

• Increasing harvest productivity by using machinery to replace human labor.
• Promoting typical products and creating new jobs.
• Gaining access to audiovisual media, which is increasingly used in all farming families, thereby enhancing their cultural life and knowledge.
