Design Features:
The SWP-56 and SWP-75 covers have been designed to operate in ADIF catenaries of 25kV and busbars of SET substations with a maximum service voltage (Um) of 36kV, providing Phase-Earth protection of 25 kV value, for bare pipes and conductors up to Ø55mm and Ø74mm, respectively.

Installation:
Once the SWP-56/75 cover is cut to the desired length, it is installed manually onto the conductor/pipe, without the need for tools, thanks to the very nature of the silicone material it is made from. Its interlocking design allows for quick installation and secure sealing of the profile, ensuring long-term reliability. (Fig. A and B).

The cover is fixed using self-vulcanizing silicone tape, applied at one end to secure the cover to the conductor or pipe, and then applied along the surface of the SWP-56/75 cover at regular intervals of ≤50cm and at the final end, as indicated in the corresponding Instruction Manual.
