In the absence of technical regulations applicable to coverings for use on first-category lines, the present development constitutes—in the opinion of ENVERTEC S.L.—the use of the Best Available Technology.

The purpose of the presented coverings is to prevent accidental, non-continuous direct electrical contact between wildlife and the live parts covered by them.

Specific measures have been designed, such as perching deterrent elements, to mitigate as much as possible the risk of electrocution in those areas of the covering that are inevitably vulnerable due to the high nominal/simple voltage of the network and the installation requirements inherent to this type of covering.

Installation: The CKSP1.4T KIT has been designed to be installed on energized lines using live-line and remote installation techniques.

Its design allows it to be installed on both polymer and glass insulators, as well as on angled conductors, thanks to its articulated arms with locking and anti-rotation systems.

The flexibility and nature of the material itself make it easy to adapt the device to the requirements of each installation. Its secure closing system with double-cone pins allows the protectors to be installed easily, ensuring their permanence and effective protection over time.

The silicone used in its construction does not suffer from color degradation or crystallization and remains effective even in areas with very high saline pollution. Thanks to their advanced technology, our protectors register lower leakage currents due to the hydrophobicity they impart to the contaminant layer.
