El forro SCCa2 pertenece a la nueva familia de protecciones desarrollada para evitar la electrocución de la avifauna, y para garantizar la continuidad del servicio ferroviario en Catenarias de AVE pertenecientes a la red ADIF.

Design Features:

The SCCa2 protector is a silicone device designed to cover the live parts not protected by the conductor covers, present in ADIF-type Ca2 suspensions with 1 or 2 conductor outlets.

The silicone thickness is 3.5 mm, providing the device with the necessary dielectric rigidity as well as long-term effective performance.

 

Installation: 

This cover features 2 slider-style outlets with up to 80 mm of free opening for 1 or 2 conductors. The outlets are equipped with an anti-nesting system.

 

Its design features 12 bolt closure points (pre-installed on each device), allowing for simple, manual installation without the need for tools.

Advantages: 

• It includes an exclusive drainage system at the bottom to prevent moisture condensation.

• The conical-section design of its 2 outlets allows, with the use of silicone tapes and the SCCa2’s inherent shape, the outlets to be adjusted on themselves or over the conductor cover, performing a dual function: hindering water entry and providing additional fixation to the assembly, ensuring it remains in place under adverse conditions.

• The conical outlets are equipped with an Anti-Intrusion System designed to prevent nesting and entry of insects.

• Its double-cone PIN closure system allows for subsequent inspections without damaging the SCCa2.

• The flexibility and nature of the material make it easy to adapt the device to the specific needs of each installation.

Supply Format

SCCa2 model covers are supplied in recyclable cardboard packages containing 3 units in red RAL 3031.

Each package includes information on the month and year of manufacture, batch number, as well as self-vulcanizing silicone tapes for installation, handling, storage, and recycling instructions. The interior of the packaging contains a detailed Instruction Manual for correct installation of the cover. A QR code is included, providing access to the installation video.
